Front door

We found the front door at a second hand junk shop and I loved it.
We cleaned it up, sanded it and sealed it.

Darryl made the rectangle  door frame around it.
He then marked the exact area he had to cut of the wall...

Then he began to chainsaw his way through the logs.
They have dried over the two years and cutting through old logs is no joke!

The cut had to be exact and it took a whole day of getting it just righ before the door slid in like a hand into a glove.

A perfect fit.

The stable doors had to be attached.

And finally the finished product.

On the 17th it was Darryl's sixtieth birthday - so we celebrated on site at lunch time!

Our team!
