The roof, windows and doors.... We've been away for a 3 week holiday... but finally an update! Precious and Timo started on the ceiling... fitting reeds in behind the roof logs. My son, Mischa slept in a tent in the loft (our future bedroom) while on holiday from Namibia..... _____________________ Blessing and Stephen sanded down the logs on the inside of the house with a sanding disk on an angle grinder. ________________________ After the logs were sanded, they sealed them with Timber-care Interior sealant. Here you can see the difference between the sanded and sealed finish and the natural, pealed log. You can see the the difference between the white gum and the pink gum.
